Dominican Church in Košice

Dominican Church located on the Dominican Square in Košice now boasts several most: dating from 1290 it is the oldest church in Kosice and the oldest surviving building in Košice at all. Thanks to the annex from the early 20th century it boasts the highest tower in the city – its tip is separated from the ground by whopping 68 meters. The church is also interesting from the inside - in its interiors are engrossing illusory frescoes that create the appearance as if the building did not even had the ceiling.
