Jasov Monastery

Magnificent monastery complex with St. John the Baptist church located in beautiful natural surroundings of the village Jasov is one of the top works of the Baroque in Slovakia. The complex has its origin deep in the Middle Ages and its attraction is that it has a symbolic 365 windows (as in days), 12 chimneys (as in months) and 4 entrances (like 4 seasons). The church does regular worship, Premonstratensian abbey, which owns the object but also offers visitors the opportunity to take a tour around the monastery complex.
