Church of St. Catherine in Banská Štiavnica

The beautiful Church of St. Catherine built in Neo-Gothic style is one of landmarks in Banská Štiavnica. It was built in the 15th century and is located between the historical Holy Trinity Square (Námestie svätej Trojice) and Town Hall Square (Radničné námestie). Under the church there is a crypt in which mayors and important burghers were buried. The Church of St. Catherine is open to the general public, there is also available a tourist guide who can enrich the tour with professional commentary.
