Slovak National Gallery Bratislava

The Slovak National Gallery, a network of galleries in Slovakia is housed in the complex of buildings on the Razus’ embankment in Bratislava. The gallery offers collections of Gothic and Baroque art, collection of European painting, collection of art of the 19th century, etc. In addition to permanent exhibition the gallery holds various occasional exhibitions. During summer season the SNG runs “Summer Cinema SNG” and organizes other cultural events.
NOTE: At the moment permanent gallery exhibitions are closed to the public due to reconstruction of SNG Bratislava headquarters. However, various temporary exhibitions are held in the Esterházy Palace in the Štúr’s Square (in the same building complex).
