Archaeological Museum in Bratislava

Archaeological Museum, a part of the Slovak National Museum is housed in a Renaissance Kamper Curia in Bratislava. The museum presents archaeological findings
in the Slovak territory from prehistory to the High Middle Ages. Visitors will acquaint with the prehistoric history of Slovakia. In a reconstructed Slavic underground shelter – mini open-air museum that is accessible from the courtyard of the Museum visitors will see how Slovak ancestors lived in the Early Medieval Period. The collection of stone monuments enables visitors to admire the stone artefacts originating from the Roman period and the Middle Ages.
NOTE: The entrance to the museum is through the street Žižkova 16.
